John Goodwin are delighted to announce the appointment of David Cox MNAEA who joined the company on 1st February. David is well known and highly respected in the world of Estate Agency and brings seventeen years of experience with him.
Born in Gravesend, Kent and raised in Gloucester, David moved to Birmingham to further his education achieving an Honours Degree in Business Management. After graduating from University he began his career in estate agency in 1998 as a sales negotiator with a well known national firm in the West Midlands. His natural enthusiasm, ambition and personality saw him promoted to a managerial position within two years. His career has continued to develop over the past ten years during which he has earned extensive plaudits as a successful branch manager in Malvern where his expertise, knowledge and experience have enabled him to deal with a wide range of properties. He qualified as a member of the National Association of Estate Agents (MNAEA) and is currently widening his horizons and continuing his training and development by working towards membership of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA). His appointment as branch manager is a new and exciting step in his future career. “I am very much looking forward to developing my future with such a highly regarded local firm and helping John Goodwin continue to provide the very best personal service. I have enormous passion for the job and I welcome this opportunity to bring my experience to the firm in sales and lettings of residential property”.
Outside work David shares his life with his partner Eve who is currently training to be a midwife. With a keen interest in sport he also enjoys any number of leisure pursuits including cycling, hill walking, jogging and particularly rugby. He likes to travel the world and in 2006 he took a one year sabbatical to visit Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Australia and New Zealand.
